2017 Marks the 100th Anniversary
of the Organization of the 77th Infantry Division!

The Division was first activated at Camp Upton, Yaphank, NY on 18 August 1917.
Our Association will be observing the Division’s 100th anniversary at various
ceremonies during the entire year. Please see our News & Events - Meetings
& Events page and elsewhere below for additional details.

The purpose of our all-voluntary Association is to perpetuate the history and traditions of the 77th Infantry Division (1917-1919 and 1942-1965) and its successor commands or units, and to promote social ties among their members and veterans. Those successor commands or units include the 77th Army Reserve Command, including the 77th Reserve Training Unit (1967- 1995); the 77th Regional Support Command (1996-2003); the 77th Regional Readiness Command (2003-2008); and the 77th Sustainment Brigade (2008-current).

Additional details about our Association are summarized on the About Us and Contact Us pages of this web site, and additional details of the history of some of those former 77th commands can be viewed on the History of the 77th page of this web site.
