33rd Annual Memorial Service at Ft. Totten, 8 Nov. 2009

On 8 November 2009, your Association sponsored the 33rd Annual Memorial Service at the Fort Totten Chapel for Deceased Soldiers of the 77th Infantry Division and Successor Units. The event featured warm and touching remarks from MG William Monk, Jr., CG 99th RSC; MG George E. Barker, Former 77th ARCOM Cdr; BG Harry J. Mott II, Former CAR, and other dignitaries.  Ms. Pam Phillips offered a beautiful rendition of the Ave Maria and God Bless America.  Following the Memorial, a Wreath Laying Ceremony was held at the 77th Memorial Grove and a reception in Kaine Hall, in the Ernie Pyle USAR Center.
