Work is almost complete on the refurbishment. Memorabilia, photos, portraits, and other material are
being gathered from various sources, including the Army Museum located at
Ft. Totten. Captain Doug Wilkie, a member our Board of Directors and an
architect by trade, has been instrumental in drawing up the plans for wall
mountings and displays.
BG Mott is spearheading the
drive to gather War Service Data, Unit Patches and Photos from 77th
members.
Captain Wilkie is also
working on a Photo Collage and 3D Model of the Kaines Hall Refurbishing.
"This project has been delayed by lack of
funds but we are very happy to report that it is now moving forward. The
chair rails in the drill hall have been installed. While the original plan
may have to be cut back, there is light at the end of the project
horizon."
